- Offers an interactive course covering aspects of research designs used in experimental and observational studies, hypothesis testing, and an introduction to basic biostatistics.
- Offers students an opportunity to critically examine selected articles from the clinical literature, to analyze the framing of the research question and the methods used to insure the validity and generalizability of the study's findings, and to assess for potential ethical issues in research design and conduct.
- Clinical trials, observational studies, and problem sets illustrate principles of research design, conduct, and data analysis.
